When do you use capital letters?

• At the start of sentences
• Names of people (like John), places (like Paris), and things (like Eiffel Tower)
• The pronoun “I”
• Titles before names (Mr Smith)
• Days of the week and months (Monday, July)
• Holidays (Christmas)
• Names of books, movies, and songs (Harry Potter, Star Wars)
• Acronyms (NASA, USA)
• Essential words in titles (The Cat in the Hat)
• Always capitalise “God” and proper religious terms.
